The 2025 Southern China Book Fair kicked off in Guangzhou today. This year's Book Fair, with the theme "Scholarly Bay Area, Reading the World, Sharing the Future", has achieved in-depth integration of online and offline activities, presenting an international, technological and youth-oriented cultural event.

It is worth mentioning that this year's Book Fair has specially set up an International Culture Hall with the theme "Reading the World". In the national cultural pavilions such as the Southeast Asia Pavilion, Central Asia Pavilion and European Culture Pavilion, not only characteristic books from different countries but also a series of cultural products are on display.

Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, Consul General of Thailand in Guangzhou, told the SFC that the Greater Bay Area is a core region connecting the world, and its cooperative ties with Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor involve not only economic integration but also culture. He hoped to promote China's intangible cultural heritage, share Chinese and Thai cultures together, and explore more possibilities through the Fair.
