Chinese Mid-autumn Festival is coming soon.

The official Light-Up and Opening Ceremony of the Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 took place in Singapore’s Chinatown on the evening of Sep. 15. 

President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Mrs. Jane Ittogi Shanmugaratnam attended the ceremony. President Shanmugaratnam sent blessings to the people in Mandarin and wished everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebration will be held from now till Oct. 14. Participants can take part in the Lantern Walk, a leisurely stroll along the illuminated Chinatown streets, while holding onto colourful cellophane lanterns.
